Equestrian Horse Riding, Livery Stables and Cross Country Courses, Hertfordshire, UK - Coursers Farm Stables
Coursers Stables was established in 2001 and prides itself on the exemplary equestrian horse riding, livery stables and cross country courses that it has to offer. When Sam Legerton retired, having run neighbouring Bowman’s Farm for 41 years he joined Sharon Symons at Coursers Farm. They set about restoring the buildings, the grazing and the Cross Country Courses, which had all been sorely neglected.
Now seven years later there are 30 excellent large, airy, automatically watered stables. Sharon manages the yard, where there is a Horse Walker and 40m*20m floodlit Ménage, as well as an in-field jumping area.
Sharon has BHS I I qualifications, 25 years experience and lives on site. There are eleven railed paddocks of various sizes surrounding the yard, which has ample parking, toilets and hospitality room. Security is achieved with gates which are locked every night and the site has an automatic coded access gate. The Tack Room is alarmed. Livery is offered from DIY to the full package.
The Cross Country Courses are available free to the users of our livery stables and for a fee to visitors. The course covers 6 Km of beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, near St Albans and incorporates 30 jumps as well as affording access to a number of well kept local Bridlepaths.
All of these facilities are within 18 miles of Marble Arch, but outside the Low Emissions Zone, with first class access to A1,M1,M25 and A414.
